Location: Chanhassen, MN
Compensation: $25.00-$34.00 per hour + $1.50 shift differential
Schedule: Monday-Friday or Sunday - Thursday | 10:00pm-6:00am

Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring a Sr. Maintenance Mechanic for a manufacturing company in Chanhassen, MN. In this role, you'll maintain and repair production machinery, equipment, and facility systems to support safe, efficient operations on the night shift. If you enjoy hands-on mechanical work, troubleshooting equipment, and working independently during off-hours, this opportunity could be a great fit. Read below for more information! What You'll Do as a Maintenance Mechanic:

• Install, repair, rebuild, and maintain production machinery and mechanical equipment
• Start up and shut down equipment in accordance with safety procedures and OSHA requirements
• Diagnose equipment malfunctions and make repairs to minimize downtime
• Rebuild machines and overhaul unreliable components and attachments
• Perform emergency and unscheduled repairs as needed
• Identify opportunities to improve equipment functionality and productivity
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area

What You Need to Bring to the Maintenance Mechanic Role:

• High school diploma or equivalent. Two or more years of vocational or technical training in mechanical repair is preferred
• Two or more years of experience as a maintenance technician in a manufacturing environment
• Experience with Lock-Out/Tag-Out (LOTO) procedures
• Strong mechanical, mathematical, and analytical skills
• Basic computer skills and strong attention to detail
• Comfortable working at heights using an aerial lift
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, crouch, kneel, and stoop for extended periods
• Comfortable working around loud noise, outdoor climates, and confined spaces
• Ability to pass a post-offer physical assessment, drug screen, and background check
