Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Project Manager to oversee the day-to-day management of projects, focusing on delivery, quality, financial performance, and health and safety. You will lead projects ranging from small to large and complex, ensuring that execution meets project, client, and regulatory objectives. Your strong technical and business competence, along with extensive knowledge of environmental codes and regulations, will be key in this role. You will hold primary responsibility for the project lifecycle, including cost estimating, proposal preparation, scheduling, subcontracting, resourcing, execution, and financial management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage projects to ensure quality and regulatory compliance.

• Collaborate closely with field teams to enforce health and safety protocols.

• Communicate effectively with clients, partners, subcontractors, agencies, regulators, and other stakeholders.

• Coach and support staff to ensure high-quality execution and professional growth.

• Plan and manage complex field investigation programs and pilot testing data collection.

• Lead technical evaluations and design efforts, including remedial action plans, system installation, operations and maintenance, and permitting.

Essential Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, Hydrogeology, or a related field.

• Minimum of 3 years of direct experience managing programs/projects with OER, DEC, and BCP.

• Professional registration or certification (PE or PG), as applicable.

• Proven ability to independently lead project teams and manage large-scale remediation project finances.

• Demonstrated competency with soil, groundwater, and air treatment technologies.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Broad environmental engineering consulting experience spanning the entire project lifecycle.

• Experience with NYC and NYS agencies.

This position requires working five days a week at our office located in Brooklyn, NY. You will be part of a dynamic and growing firm specializing in real estate development, environmental consulting, and project management. Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Brooklyn, NY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $150000.00/yr.
