Los Cocineros de Lnea son responsables de cocinar en estaciones especficas. Preparan alimentos, cocinan, emplatan, mantienen la limpieza y siguen las normas de seguridad alimentaria. Trabajan en equipo, muchas veces bajo presin, para asegurar que los platos salgan a tiempo y con alta calidad.

Responsabilidades del puesto (incluye, pero no se limita a):
- Preparar ingredientes: lavar, cortar, picar, rebanar y porcionar frutas, vegetales, carnes y otros alimentos.
- Seguir recetas: preparar sopas, hornear postres, hacer fondos, salsas, etc.
- Preparacin de alimentos: cortar, mezclar y preparar ingredientes segn recetas.
- Almacenamiento y etiquetado: seguir procedimientos de enfriamiento, almacenar correctamente, etiquetar con fecha, nombre y contenido.
- Mantener el rea de trabajo limpia y organizada.
- Conocer y seguir normas de seguridad alimentaria.
- Preparar platos simples como ensaladas, salsas o aderezos cuando se necesite.
- Comunicarse con el Kitchen Manager, cocineros, expo/food runners y personal de servicio.
- Atencin al detalle en medidas y preparacin.
- Trabajar en un ambiente rpido y manejar mltiples tareas.
- Asegurar calidad: probar, oler o verificar temperatura para confirmar coccin adecuada.
- Cocinar usando mtodos como grill, frer, saltear y hornear.
- Emplatar siguiendo las especificaciones del men.
- Manejar su estacin: mantenerla limpia, organizada y abastecida.
- Seguir estrictamente normas de seguridad y sanidad.
- Manejar inventario de su estacin, reabastecer y minimizar desperdicio.
- Trabajar en equipo para asegurar un servicio eficiente.
- Seguir listas de preparacin creadas por el Kitchen Manager.
- Completar tareas de cierre: sanitizar, limpiar, abastecer, organizar y dejar la estacin lista.
- Limpiar equipo: estufa, grill, freidora, coolers, campana y estacin.
- Apoyar con tareas adicionales y ayudar a otros departamentos cuando se necesite.
- Otras tareas segn se asignen.
Calificaciones:
- Habilidades de cocina y dominio de diferentes tcnicas.
- Rapidez y precisin, especialmente en horas pico.
- Buen manejo del cuchillo.
- Capacidad para leer recetas y tickets en ingls.
- Disponibilidad para trabajar fines de semana y mnimo 3 turnos por semana.
- Capacidad para trabajar bien en equipo.
- Seguir protocolos de seguridad al mover equipo o productos.
- Buena convivencia con otros.
- Puntualidad y cumplimiento de polticas y estndares de la empresa.
Exigencias fsicas del trabajo:
- Estar de pie por largos periodos y realizar tareas repetitivas.
- Uso constante de cuchillos, ollas grandes, horno, etc.
- Flexionar, alcanzar, agacharse, torcer el cuerpo.
- Levantar peso de hasta 50 libras.
- Trabajar en temperaturas calientes o fras (horno, congelador).
- Usar ropa protectora: zapatos antideslizantes, guantes, gorro/red, mandil, chaqueta/pantaln de cocina.
