About the Role: We are currently searching for an outstanding individual to fill our Corporate Marketing Assistant position at our corporate office in Columbus, OH. The ideal candidate is organized, creative, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment. The Corporate Marketing Assistant provides administrative and creative support to the Sales and Marketing team and assists with the coordination and execution of company marketing and communication initiatives. This position helps maintain consistent branding and communications across the organization while supporting digital marketing, social media, the company website, employee communications, promotional materials, events, and sales initiatives. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Assist with the development, coordination, and distribution of marketing materials, including brochures, flyers, presentations, advertisements, and other promotional materials. Assist with maintaining and updating the company website, including coordinating new content, photos, announcements, and other updates to ensure information remains current and consistent with company branding. Assist with the development, coordination, and distribution of the company employee newsletter, including gathering content from locations, employee highlights, company updates, safety information, photos, and other relevant communications. Support the planning and coordination of trade shows, lunch and learns, conferences, customer events, community events, and other company-sponsored activities. Gather photos, project information, employee highlights, and other content from company locations for marketing and communication purposes. Maintain organized digital files of marketing materials, photographs, logos, templates, and other brand assets. Monitor company social media accounts and assist with responding to or escalating inquiries as appropriate. Support employer branding and recruiting initiatives in partnership with Human Resources. Ensure marketing materials and communications are consistent with company branding standards. Monitor and manage Google Business Profile reviews across company locations. Draft and post professional, timely responses to customer reviews. Track review trends, ratings, and recurring customer feedback. Support initiatives to increase positive customer reviews and strengthen the company’s online reputation. Provide general administrative support to the Sales and Marketing department to include lead tracking and sales reports. Research federal, state, DOT, municipal, utility, and engineering specifications affecting the use of hot-dip galvanized steel. Identify specifications that contain outdated information, unnecessarily restrict galvanizing, or present opportunities to expand the use of galvanized products. Perform other duties and special projects as assigned. Qualifications and Requirements: Associate's or bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field preferred. 1–3 years of marketing, communications, administrative, or related experience preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent organizational and project coordination skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Experience with social media platforms, website content management, and digital marketing tools preferred. Experience with graphic design programs such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite is a plus. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with multiple departments and locations. Professional, dependable, and comfortable communicating with employees, customers, vendors, and company leadership. Creative mindset with an attention to branding and visual presentation. Strong proofreading, attention to detail and editing skills. Ability to communicate professionally and effectively. Ability to gather and organize information from multiple locations and stakeholders. Ability to prioritize assignments in a fast-paced environment. Ability to maintain confidentiality when working with company and employee information. Willingness to learn the company's operations, products, services, customers, and industry.
