Now Hiring: Sit-Down Forklift Operator Location Romeoville, IL Available Shifts Day Shift: Sunday–Thursday, 6:00am–2:30pm – $21/hr Night Shift: Sunday–Thursday, 6:00pm–2:30am – $22.50/hr Position Overview Join our dynamic warehouse team in Romeoville as a Sit-Down Forklift Operator. We're looking for candidates with recent forklift experience who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are willing to support warehouse operations, including some material picking tasks. Key Responsibilities Operate a sit-down forklift in a safe and efficient manner Load, unload, transport, and stage materials within the warehouse Frequently get on and off the forklift throughout the shift Use an RF scanner for pallet picking and order fulfillment Adhere to all safety regulations and operational procedures Support general warehouse activities as assigned Requirements At least 1 year of recent experience operating a sit-down forklift (Toyota experience a plus) Prior experience with RF scanners preferred Able to lift up to 50 lbs. (average lifts are about 30 lbs.) Consistent, reliable work history (employment gaps will be evaluated) Ability to work well independently and as a member of a team Warehouse Setting This is a third-party logistics (3PL) environment handling a variety of products for the manufacturing and packaging sector, such as: Coffee cups Clamshell containers Straws Plastic utensils Other food service packaging supplies Dress Code & Safety Guidelines Steel-toe shoes are required Work shorts are permitted (no hoodies or inappropriate graphics on T-shirts) Safety glasses and vests provided on-site Hiring Process No interview necessary Resume review required before assignment Benefits Kelly offers eligible employees voluntary benefit plans including medical, dental, vision, telemedicine, term life, whole life, accident insurance, critical illness, a legal plan, and short-term disability.
