General Summary Develops, implements and evaluates recruitment and outreach activities, strategies and programs to recruit, admit and enroll students to an assigned department at the University. Major Duties Develops, implements and oversees strategic plans to recruit students with an emphasis on recruitment and retention. Recommends admissions policies, procedures and outreach activities. Builds and maintains relationships with other University offices, departments and external stakeholders to represent programs and departments at various college outreach events. Develops and implements outreach programs, including marketing strategies and maintaining marketing material such as the website in order to promote programs and activities that are consistent with enrollment goals. Assists in student retention by developing and implementing retention strategies and mentoring to ensure successful completion of programs. Assesses enrollment and retention trends and results. Collaborates with the department to set goals and develop strategies to meet goals and objectives. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in related field from an accredited institution. One year’s relevant experience. Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills. Ability to travel in-state and out-of-state. Ability to work irregular shifts and extended hours, including evenings and weekends. Additional Position Information Finalist will be required to successfully complete computer literacy, customer service skills, proof reading, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft Teams skills assessments.
