Records Technician

Aircraft Logs & Records TechnicianProvides Organizational-level aircraft maintenance support on P-8 series aircraft in accordance with the Naval Aviation Maintenance Program (NAMP), applicable technical data, and federal contract requirements.Maintains aircraft maintenance records, logbooks, and documentation in support of inspections and audits.Essential Functions:Perform complex aircraft maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, repair, and modificationDocument maintenance actions in aircraft logs and approved maintenance systemsEnsure compliance with Tool Control, FOD, safety, and quality programsPerform other duties as assignedDuties:Maintain aircraft, engine, and component logbooksVerify TD compliance and inspection statusInterface with QA and Maintenance ControlQualifications:Logs and Records "A" School or equivalent required3+ years related experience required3+ years P-8 or equivalent aircraft experience preferredSecret clearance requiredPhysical Requirements:Must be able to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation, including prolonged sitting or standing, use of a computer and office equipment, and lifting up to 25 lbs. Requires sufficient vision to read and review records and the ability to work in office and hangar environments while wearing required PPE.Compensation:$35.70/hour + $2.65 H&WBenefits:Employees are offered medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance.
