Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Looking for a change of scenery and a chance to help others. Join our team as a traveling Physical Therapist in Lexington, KY where you will help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing a new location. This role focuses on outpatient care with a patient population that includes pelvic health, general orthopedics, post-operative care, vestibular, and gait/balance therapy. Local clinicians within 50 miles may be considered at a local rate. New graduates are not accepted. First-time travelers are acceptable.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA. Active Kentucky state physical therapy license required to start the assignment. BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required. Outpatient experience preferred. Must not be a new graduate. First-time travelers are acceptable. Experience treating pelvic health, general orthopedics, post-op patients, vestibular disorders, and gait/balance is preferred. Ability to meet productivity expectation of approximately 60 visits per week and to see 12–14 patients per day; follow-up double-booking expected. Ability and willingness to float to other clinics as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

Prior outpatient clinic experience with similar patient populations. Experience working in multi-clinic systems and willingness to float between clinics when required.

Assignment Details

Shift name: Days. Guaranteed 36 hours per week with expectation to work up to 40 hours. OT (overtime) must be approved by the director before any OT hours are worked. Float to other clinics within the regional clinic network may be required. Patient population includes pelvic health, general orthopedics, post-op, vestibular, and gait/balance. Productivity expectation approximately 60 visits per week; typically 12–14 patients per day with double-booking of follow-up visits expected.
