PeopleSoft Financial Systems Architect

Job Summary:

Seeking a Senior Architect specializing in PeopleSoft Financials 9.2 with deep expertise in General Ledger (GL) and Commitment Control (KK). This on-site, functional-technical hybrid role supports a government enterprise engagement, requiring strong cross-module integration knowledge and 24/7 on-call availability to ensure seamless financial operations and system support. Responsibilities:

Work within GL and KK modules including ledger configurations, budget structures, and transactional processing.
Support cross-module integration across GL, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Purchasing, Billing, and Travel & Expense.
Create and manage Budget and GL Journals throughout the full journal lifecycle.
Configure Business Units, Combo Edits, Chart Fields, and Trees.
Analyze People Code, Application Engine programs, and technical objects to identify root causes and customization needs.
Lead functional design discussions and conduct technical solution walkthroughs.
Provide production support including issue triage, defect resolution, and incident management.
Conduct comprehensive PeopleSoft lifecycle testing and develop enhancement documentation.

Required Skills & Certifications:

Extensive expertise in PeopleSoft Financials 9.2, specifically General Ledger and Commitment Control modules.
Comprehensive knowledge of cross-module integration (GL, AP, AR, Purchasing, Billing, Travel & Expense).
Experience analyzing People Code, Application Engine programs, and technical objects.
Proficiency in People Tools, Integration Broker, and REST/SOAP API integrations.
Proficient in PeopleSoft Query (PS Query).
Comprehensive experience with PeopleSoft lifecycle testing.
Must pass fingerprint background check.
Availability for 24/7 on-call support.

Preferred Skills & Certifications:

Experience working with large government enterprise solutions.

Special Considerations:

Mandatory 24/7 on-call availability for incident response and support.
Must pass fingerprint background check due to government engagement requirements.

Scheduling:

On-site work required, 5 days per week.
Engagement duration: 8 months.
