About the Role In Finance, we work hand-in-hand with leaders across the company to ensure smooth, disciplined execution of strategic business objectives. Our Strategic Finance team provides comprehensive financial insights into the business through functional business partnering, budgeting, forecasting, and project management. What the Candidate Will Need Business partnerships: Work closely with business and functional leaders to enhance financial reporting & forecasting to drive insights and change, applying business judgment and financial insights to assist with decision making Financial planning: You will be a primary point of contact for all things finance and will lead budgeting, forecasting and monthly reporting Business Analysis - This role involves connecting financial insights to operational results, and the external environment Help us scale our reporting infrastructure: Lead cross functional projects enhancing our reporting infrastructure to provide the organization with the right tools to understand trends and manage to targets Special projects: New initiatives always come up, as strengths emerge you will have the ability to lead cross functional projects Innovate: We will push the boundaries beyond traditional forecasting. Be creative, adaptive, and eager to learn new technical skill sets Basic Qualifications BS/BA in Finance, Accounting, Economics A minimum of 5+ years in Corporate Finance, Banking, FP&A Advanced Excel, Google products knowledge Strong working knowledge of GAAP Preferred Qualifications Excellent communication and people skills Systems - working knowledge of enterprise-level financial planning systems MBA, CFA or CPA Infrastructure, Cloud, AI, or Software experience For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$162,000 per year - USD$180,000 per year. You will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp. All full-time employees are eligible to participate in a 401(k) plan.
