Location: Campobello, SC 29322
Pay: $20.00+/hour, depending on experience
Schedule: 1st Shift | 8:00 AM-5:00 PM (Flexible)
Job Type: Full-Time

Job Description

OpSource is partnering with an established machine shop in Campobello, SC, to hire an experienced TIG Welder .

This is a great opportunity to join a clean, climate-controlled, air-conditioned facility while performing precision TIG welding and fabrication work.

Responsibilities

Perform TIG welding on various metals and alloys, including stainless steel and aluminum
Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and weld symbols
Fit, clean, and prepare metal components for welding
Use grinders, cutting tools, calipers, tape measures, and other fabrication equipment
Inspect completed welds for quality, structural integrity, defects, and warping
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Follow all shop safety procedures and properly use required PPE

Requirements

1-3 years of hands-on TIG welding and fabrication experience in a shop or manufacturing environment
High school diploma or GED
Technical college welding certificate preferred
Ability to stand for extended periods
Ability to bend, stoop, and lift materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
Ability to accurately read and interpret weld symbols and technical drawings
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Strict adherence to safety procedures and PPE requirements
