Business Systems Analysis

As a Business Systems Analysis, you will lead the analysis strategy that enhances and streamlines enterprise business systems in alignment with client strategic objectives. You will partner closely with product, technology, and business leaders to translate evolving market and organizational needs into scalable solutions, set standards for analysis quality, and guide a team of BSAs to deliver high-impact outcomes. Your work will accelerate decision-making, improve operational efficiency, and support client commitment to innovative financial services.

What you'll do:

• Lead business discovery and analysis to define system needs, identify improvement opportunities, and drive clarity on scope and success criteria.
• Partner with product, technology, and business stakeholders to design scalable, innovative solutions aligned with organizational and market demands.
• Provide leadership to BSA team members—overseeing requirements quality, guiding analysis activities, and supporting large scale project delivery.
• Own end to end system implementation activities, including requirements validation, solution design, UAT coordination, deployment readiness, and post implementation support.
• Maintain and govern business rules and decision logic to ensure consistency, traceability, and long-term maintainability.
• Manage change intake and prioritization, balancing business value, feasibility, risk, and regulatory considerations.
• Create clear as is/to be workflows and process documentation to support shared understanding and effective delivery.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, security, risk, and SDLC standards throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• UAT ownership/support.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders and leadership—escalating risks, providing updates, and influencing decisions to support delivery outcomes.

Experience you'll need to have:

• 8+ years of experience in business systems analysis.
• 8+ years producing high-quality functional and technical documentation using industry-standard tools such as Confluence, Jira, and Visio.
• 6+ years managing end-to-end system process flows across complex financial and/or operational platforms.
• Some exp in UI/UX is required
• 3+ years of hands-on SQL (e.g., MySQL, SQL Server) for data validation, analysis, and troubleshooting.
• 3+ years executing system implementations across the full lifecycle (requirements through postproduction support).
• Strong facilitation, stakeholder management, and communication skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional workshops and drive consensus.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and related experience, including military experience.

Experience that would be great to have:

• Experience with Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and modern product practices (backlog management, story mapping, acceptance criteria).
• Experience in the financial services domain (e.g., payments, banking, risk/compliance).
• Exposure to integration/API design and validation, data modeling, and workflow automation.
