Role overview

As a key member of the Aroris Service team, the Account Services Associate is responsible for maintaining strong relationships with assigned clients and enabling smart negotiations with payers. As the connective force between clients, negotiators, and payers, the Account Services Associate plays a critical role in turning complex payer contracting work into clear, coordinated action. This person helps keep high-stakes negotiations moving, ensures clients have confidence in the process, and supports the work that helps providers secure the reimbursement they deserve. By bringing structure, urgency, and exceptional follow-through to every interaction, the Account Services Associate helps translate Aroris’ mission into measurable value for our provider partners. Strong communication skills and a willingness to “lean in” to the inherent complexity of the relationship between payers and providers is essential. 

What you'll do

Client Onboarding Own the client onboarding workflow, including coordinating required documentation, managing document request forms, and ensuring complete, accurate, and timely submissions. 

• Serve as the primary point of contact for critical document requests, coordinating between clients, payers, and internal teams to keep onboarding work moving smoothly. 

• Review supporting documentation for accuracy and completeness, resolving gaps or issues with strong attention to detail. 

• Oversee daily document collection activity, manage follow-ups and escalations, and support 4- and 10-week client onboarding check-ins. 
  

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Client Success, Payer Relations, Platform, Product, Negotiation, and Data teams to support client needs and help payer contracting work move forward. 

• Provide regular updates on document collection status, client onboarding progress, open risks, and items requiring escalation. 

• Support Client Success with day-to-day client inquiries, onboarding needs, and basic troubleshooting while maintaining focus on document collection and coordination responsibilities. 

• Support Payer Relations managers with information, follow-up, and coordination that may inform negotiation strategy and provider partnership growth. 
  

Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements that make document collection, client onboarding, and cross-functional handoffs more efficient, consistent, and scalable. 

• Look for opportunities to reduce turnaround times, improve workflow clarity, and strengthen the quality of documentation submitted to payers. 

• Contribute observations from day-to-day client and payer coordination to help refine internal processes and improve the client experience. 

• Maintain clear, timely, and professional communication with internal and external stakeholders to ensure transparency and accountability throughout the process. 

About you

• 1-2 years of experience in any of the following areas: client service, customer support, project coordination, administrative operations, healthcare administration, internship, campus leadership, or other roles requiring strong organization, follow-through, and professional communication. 

• General understanding of or interest in the healthcare industry and landscape, including the relationship between payers and providers. 

• Willingness to participate and proactively engage in all aspects of payer contracting processes on behalf of the client. 

• Exceptional interpersonal skills. 

• High degree of comfort in developing and delivering presentations to internal and external groups.   

• Results driven, persistent - able to self-direct and work independently showing initiative, while seeking guidance when appropriate.  

• Proven ability to work with limited or ambiguous information.  Must be able to “connect the dots”, using strong organizational and analytical skills. 

• Demonstrated strength in computer software, e.g., MS Office Suite, PowerPoint, social media, and internet-based research. 

• Ability to multi-task and be flexible in a fast-paced and growing organization. 

• Have a high attention to detail, as this role is directly responsible for the accuracy of supporting documentation for contracts and completing documents accurately.  

• Effectively and professionally represent Aroris to the provider & payer community.
