Pay Range : Approximately $55/hour

Work Model: Hybrid – 4 Days Onsite / 1 Day Remote ( Buffalo-area candidates strongly preferred )

Nature & Scope:

Positional Overview

Our client is seeking a Business Systems Analyst V to join its Retail Credit Card team, supporting the day-to-day operations, enhancement initiatives, and production support of enterprise credit card processing systems.

This position partners closely with business stakeholders, technology teams, and the organization's primary credit card processing vendor, TSYS, to support production issues, testing efforts, system enhancements, and ongoing operational improvements. Candidates should possess a strong understanding of retail credit card processing, transaction lifecycles, and production support within large banking environments.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Business Systems Analyst who enjoys troubleshooting complex production issues, analyzing transaction data, coordinating with vendors, and supporting mission-critical banking applications.

Buffalo-area candidates who are committed to working onsite four days per week are strongly preferred. Remote candidates will only be considered if an exceptional local candidate cannot be identified.

Required Experience

• Minimum 6 years of Business Systems Analysis experience.
• Strong retail credit card processing experience.
• Experience supporting production applications within banking or financial services.
• Strong SQL skills for transaction analysis and troubleshooting.
• Experience investigating production issues and performing root cause analysis.
• Understanding of the retail credit card account lifecycle, transaction processing, payments, and settlements.
• Experience coordinating with business stakeholders, technical teams, and third-party vendors.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous TSYS experience.
• Experience with API integrations.
• Exposure to mainframe environments.
• Experience supporting high-volume financial transaction systems.
• Banking or financial services background.

• Member of the Retail Credit Card technology organization.
• Works closely with business partners, application teams, and TSYS.
• Supports ongoing production operations, enhancements, and testing initiatives.
• Fast-paced banking environment supporting critical credit card platforms.
