Essential Job Functions: Prepares and processes journal entries, monthly reconciliation on accounts and documentation, reconciling monthly bank account. Perform general ledger account analysis for all balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis. Maintains fixed assets and depreciation of accounts. Produces monthly financial statements including budget variance reports. Responsible for assisting the Financial Accounting Manager in producing periodic financial reports; fully supporting the financial reporting information needs of divisional directors and departmental managers. Ensures the integrity of the financial statements by reviewing all sub-system entries posted to the general ledger. Responsible for understanding the flow/impact of financial information from the casino cage to the general ledger. Preparing or overseeing the preparation of account analysis for assigned balance sheet, income and expense accounts. Analyzes and tests monthly financials to ensure compliance with contracts, regulations Generally Accepted Accounting Procedures (GAAP) and internal accounting policies. Support external auditors in the completion of annual audits. Assist the Financial Accounting Supervisor in the preparation of reports that summarize and forecast company business activity. Ensure the general ledger is closed within Silver Slipper Casino guidelines. Assume various responsibilities and perform various duties of special projects as necessary Qualifications Skills Required Intermediate Microsoft Excel Intermediate Auditing Intermediate Analysis Intermediate Accounting Intermediate Education Preferred Bachelors or better.
