Summit Place KIA is growing and we are looking for a first-class Automotive Service Advisor for our dealerships in the greater Detroit area - we have locations in Oakland and Macomb county. The Service Advisor is responsible for: Build trust and respect with customers, listen and repeat back Use active listening to engage and understand their vehicle issues and concerns Create repair orders and clearly communicate vehicle needs to service technicians Communicate vehicle diagnoses and maintenance needs to customers and ability to advise and sell needed work Follow up, keeping customer updated on their vehicles throughout the repair process Interact with customers, vendors, and technicians in a professional manner at all times Maintain a clean, safe, and professional Service Lane and Lounge Answer phones promptly throughout the day Be helpful & accommodating (scheduling and transportation) Prominently display current promotions Greet customers promptly and enthusiastically at their vehicle Qualifications Experience advising automotive service customers and developing relationships with new and existing customers required. Dealertrack experience very helpful.
