Senior Accountant

Now Hiring: Senior Accountant | Pasadena, CA Are you an accounting professional looking to grow your career in a dynamic, fast-paced public company environment? This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative finance team where you'll gain exposure to SEC reporting, technical accounting, audit support, and financial reporting while working alongside experienced accounting leaders.
What You'll Be Doing:
? 2-3+ years of accounting experience, Big 4 Required
? Knowledge of U.S. GAAP and month-end close processes
? Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
? Advanced Excel skills and attention to detail
? CPA or CPA-track strongly preferred
Preferred Background:
What You'll Be Doing:
- Supporting month-end and quarter-end close activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations
- Preparing balance sheet reconciliations and assisting with accruals and financial reporting processes
- Analyzing financial results and investigating period-over-period variances
- Assisting with SEC reporting activities, including quarterly and annual filings
- Supporting internal and external audits and contributing to process improvement initiatives
- Collaborating cross-functionally to support accounting estimates, reporting, and compliance requirements
? 2-3+ years of accounting experience, Big 4 Required
? Knowledge of U.S. GAAP and month-end close processes
? Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
? Advanced Excel skills and attention to detail
? CPA or CPA-track strongly preferred
Preferred Background:
- Exposure to SEC reporting and SOX compliance
- Experience within biotech, pharmaceutical, life sciences, or other regulated industries
- ERP system experience
