We are seeking a preschool teacher to join our organization! This individual will plan and present age-appropriate activities for children.

Responsibilities:

• Provide preschool children with activities designed to promote developmental, intellectual, and creative growth
• Create a fun, healthy, and safe learning environment
• Develop schedules and routines to ensure adequate physical activity, rest, and playtime
• Create lesson plans, calendars, and follow an approved curriculum
• Document developmental observations and track in an approved assessment portal
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with students, staff, and parents
• Communicate with parents on students' daily activities, growth, and progress, as well as conduct parent teacher conferences
• Maintain the health and safety of all students using the PA Child Care licensing standards, Caring for Our Children, and Keystone Stars Standards.

Qualifications:

• An associate's or bachelor's degree in ECE or a related field with at least 15 credits of ECE
• Previous experience in childcare, teaching, or other related fields (at least 2 years)
• Passionate about working with children
• Ability to build rapport with children and maintain a high-quality classroom
• Positive and patient demeanor
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
