Job Description
Job Opportunity Position: Maternal Fetal Medicine Sonographer We are seeking an experienced Maternal Fetal Medicine Sonographer to join a dedicated team. This position offers an opportunity for a temp-to-perm assignment, with the option to transition to a permanent role after the initial contract. Candidates must specify their preference regarding permanent placement upon application. Key Details:
- Location: City, State
- Shift: Day Shift, 5x8 hours (07:30 AM - 05:00 PM)
- Start Date: ASAP
- Work Environment: 6 ultrasound rooms at one facility and 2 rooms at another, with a daily performance of 7-9 detailed ultrasounds.
- Patient Care: High-risk maternal and fetal conditions are common; the sonographer must be skilled in detailed ultrasound imaging.
- Responsibilities:
- Perform detailed ultrasounds and report findings to medical staff.
- Assist with procedures including amniocentesis, amnio reduction, CVS, and PUBS.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in the field required; outpatient experience preferred.
- Certifications: BLS, ARDMS (OB/GYN), and Nuchal Translucency (NT) certification required.
- Skills:
- Proficient in fetal echo and ultrasound imaging techniques.
- Familiarity with Epic charting system is mandatory.
- Experience with high-risk obstetrics is essential.
- Work Schedule: No weekends, no nights, and no major holidays required.
- Travelers may be expected to float between nearby facilities as needed.
- Refusal to float may lead to termination of the assignment.
- Appropriate attire: scrubs in any color without prints.
