Director of Capital Formation & Investor Relations

Redwood Digital Group, Inc. ("RDG"), founded in 2017, is a discretionary macro-crypto hedge fund providing serious investors with disciplined, risk-aware access to digital assets. RDG combines traditional hedge-fund discipline with the growth potential of crypto markets, applying a structured investment process, institutional operating standards, and a long-term approach to investor relationships. RDG serves accredited and institutional investors through an onshore Delaware fund, an offshore Cayman feeder fund, and a Luxembourg-based SV Tracker Certificate. As RDG enters its next stage of growth, the firm is expanding its capital formation capabilities and building a scalable institutional distribution platform.

Role Description

The Director of Capital Formation & Investor Relations is a full-time, hybrid role based in Miami, FL, reporting directly to the CEO & Managing Partner. This is a senior, hands-on commercial role combining capital formation, relationship development, investor relations, and strategic marketing. The Director will serve as a key representative of the firm to prospective investors, existing investors, family offices, registered investment advisers, institutional allocators, and distribution partners — originating meaningful investor relationships while building a disciplined, professional capital formation process. This is not a commission-only sales or finder role.

Capital Formation

• Develop and execute a focused capital formation strategy in partnership with RDG's leadership
• Build and manage a high-quality pipeline of prospective investors, with an initial focus on the United States
• Originate and cultivate relationships with family offices, RIAs, institutional allocators, qualified individual investors, and consultants
• Qualify prospective investors based on fit, interest, timing, and applicable eligibility requirements
• Lead introductory meetings, follow-up conversations, due-diligence processes, and relationship development
• Represent RDG at relevant conferences, industry events, allocator meetings, and platform events
• Maintain and expand relationships with RDG's existing distribution partners and platform channels

Investor Relations

• Serve as a primary point of contact for prospective and existing investors
• Respond to investor inquiries accurately, promptly, and professionally
• Coordinate investor updates, quarterly communications, meetings, and calls
• Work closely with the CEO, fund administrator, legal counsel, and other service providers to support investor onboarding and ongoing communications

Sales Operations and Infrastructure

• Own and maintain RDG's CRM, including investor profiles, meeting notes, pipeline stages, follow-up activity, and referral sources
• Establish a disciplined process for pipeline reviews, forecasting, and management reporting
• Maintain accurate records of investor communications and referral attribution in accordance with company policy

Marketing and Due Diligence

• Help develop and continuously improve pitch decks, fact sheets, due-diligence materials, presentations, and investor updates
• Translate RDG's investment strategy into a clear, credible, and compelling investor narrative
• Coordinate with legal counsel and compliance resources before distributing new or materially revised marketing materials

Qualifications

Required

• At least five years of relevant experience in capital formation, fundraising, institutional sales, private wealth distribution, or investor relations for investment products
• A demonstrated ability to originate, develop, and maintain relationships with sophisticated investors
• Experience managing a complete investor-development process, from initial introduction through diligence and onboarding
• Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills
• Strong organizational habits and experience managing a structured pipeline through a CRM
• Sound judgment when handling confidential information and communicating with investors
• The ability to operate independently and work effectively in an entrepreneurial environment

Preferred

• An established network among family offices, RIAs, institutional allocators, or qualified high-net-worth investors
• Experience with private funds, alternative investments, Reg D offerings, offshore funds, or related investment structures
• Familiarity with digital assets or crypto markets
• Experience working with investor platforms, databases, conference networks, and third-party distribution partners
• Relevant securities or investment-advisory licenses, where applicable

Compensation

RDG offers a competitive compensation package consisting of a market-based annual salary, eligibility for discretionary, multi-factor participation in RDG's long-term Growth Pool (subject to governing plan documents and individual award agreement), and benefits and paid time off in accordance with company policy. Compensation rewards overall contribution — capital formation, investor relationships, investor service, operational execution, collaboration, and long-term firm growth — and is not structured as transaction-based compensation or a commission calculated solely on capital raised.

Location and Travel

The role is based in Miami, FL or New York, NY, on a hybrid basis. The position requires travel for investor meetings, conferences, partner meetings, and other business-development activities.
