Empower young learners and make a difference this upcoming school year in a vibrant K-8 setting, working as a Speech-Language Pathologist. This contract opportunity is an ideal fit if you thrive in a collaborative, supportive educational environment and want to help students achieve their full communication potential.
Work closely with a caseload of 20 students, providing both assessment and intervention services over 2-3 days per week. You’ll play a key role in performing evaluations, developing individualized plans, and partnering with families and staff to ensure exceptional student progress throughout the 2026-2027 school year.
To excel in this position, ideal candidates should have:
- Active Pennsylvania SLP License and relevant Educator Certification
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Previous experience in K-8 school settings (preferred)
- Expertise in conducting thorough speech, language, and communication evaluations
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
Primary responsibilities will include:
- Performing comprehensive speech-language evaluations for a diverse K-8 caseload
- Designing and implementing individualized therapy plans for students
- Collaborating with classroom teachers, families, and support staff
- Maintaining accurate documentation and progress reports to ensure compliance and ongoing student growth
- Contributing to IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
