Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Based near San Bernardino, this contract position provides a dynamic environment supporting schools during a leave, with the chance to work with a diverse caseload of 55-60 students across 2-4 sites. You'll have the support of a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) and collaborate closely with educational teams. The schedule runs Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with contracts arranged trimester by trimester until a permanent hire is made.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Active California Occupational Therapy license
• Experience in school-based OT services, particularly K-8 settings
• Strong skills in writing and managing IEPs, documenting progress, and participating in IEP meetings
• Ability to effectively collaborate with staff, students, and families
• Adaptability to work across multiple locations with varying student needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and consultative OT services to K-8 students in line with their IEPs
• Develop, implement, and monitor progress on therapy goals
• Write thorough IEPs and document student progress according to district protocols
• Attend and actively contribute to IEP meetings
• Participate in events and initiatives at assigned school sites
• Work alongside COTA to coordinate and delegate tasks as needed
