Job Description

Operate excavators safely and efficiently while naintaining awareness of surrounding personnel, utilities, structures, and equipment
Perform demolition work with precision and control to prevent damage to surrounding areas
Excavate for foundations, utility trenching, and underground installations according to plans and grade requirements
Complete trenching work safely while monitoring trench conditions and maintaining proper clearances
Perform backfilling and compaction to project specifications
Operate equipment with smooth controls while maintaining high productivity and quality workmanship
Read and understand site plans, grade stakes, and utility markings
Communicate effectively with ground crews, supervisors, and other operators to ensure safe and efficient workflow
Perform daily equipment inspections and basic preventative maintenance
Work efficiently in fast-paced construction environments while maintaining attention to detail and safety standards
