Job Summary:

Provides direct care to clinic patients under the supervision of the Clinical RN and direction of the Director. Assists the professional staff in their provision of care by preparing patients to be seen by the physician, assists patients with limited mobility, and performs specific procedures with appropriate orientation and supervision. Follows all Wound Care and affiliated hospital policies and procedures.

What You'll Bring to the Team:

• Knowledge of third party reimbursement especially HMO/ PPO.
• Ability to pass Medical Terminology exam.
• Medical terminology preferred.
• Basic knowledge of PC and mainframe computer operations.

Licensure and Certification:

• Current Certified Medical Assistant or Certified Nursing Assistant.
• Current BLS provider card

Education:

• Minimum High School graduate or equivalent

Experience:

• Two years minimum in hospital or other health care setting such as a medical office or insurance billing.
