Join us and, together, we’ll advance your career.THE ROLE:AMD is seeking a strategic and customer-focused product marketing professional to support its embedded processor product portfolio. This role will collaborate closely with sales, engineering, factory, and field teams to secure new customer designs, guide design wins through production ramp, and identify emerging market opportunities.The ideal candidate combines strong engineering knowledge with product marketing expertise and can translate complex technical capabilities into compelling customer value propositions. This individual will also engage with customers and executives, analyze market and competitive trends, and provide insights that help shape future product development.THE PERSON:The successful candidate is a high-energy, self-driven, and detail-oriented professional who approaches challenges with sound judgment, logical thinking, and strong business acumen. They are comfortable working across technical and commercial teams and can effectively communicate complex processor technologies to customers, sales teams, and executive stakeholders.This person should demonstrate initiative, thoroughness, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment. Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills are essential.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Partner closely with the sales team to secure new customer designs by understanding customer requirements, evaluating competitive offerings, and aligning customer needs with AMD’s embedded CPU solutions.Coordinate with factory and field teams to ensure a smooth transition from customer design wins to full production volume.Engage with lead customers to identify key market, customer, and technology trends.Translate customer and market insights into clear inputs for Market Requirements Documents, supporting new product planning and development.Review market research and conduct Serviceable Available Market and Total Addressable Market analysis to identify potential growth areas and business opportunities.Evaluate market dynamics and competing solutions through structured competitive and SWOT analyses.Develop differentiated positioning and messaging that clearly communicates the strengths and value of AMD’s embedded processor portfolio.Create comprehensive sales enablement materials, including customer presentations, product positioning content, and sales training resources.Present product strategies, market insights, and value propositions to customers, sales organizations, and executive stakeholders.Collaborate across sales, engineering, marketing, operations, factory, and field teams to support product adoption and business growth.PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:Engineering experience in one or more of the following areas: Processors, NetworkingSecurity or StorageExperience supporting embedded processors, CPUs, or related semiconductor products.Experience translating technical product capabilities into customer-focused positioning and messaging.Understanding of product marketing, customer design-win processes, and production ramp activities.Experience conducting market research, competitive analysis, SWOT analysis, and SAM/TAM assessments.Demonstrated ability to create customer presentations, sales training materials, and other sales enablement tools.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Confidence presenting technical and business information to customers and executives.Previous experience in a customer-facing role is preferred.Ability to work effectively with sales, engineering, operations, factory, and field organizations.Self-motivated, thorough, and attentive to detail, with strong logical reasoning and practical judgment.EDUCATION:Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a closely related technical field.This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.#LI-EV1#LI-HYBRIDBenefits offered are described: AMD benefits at a glance.AMD does not accept unsolicited resumes from headhunters, recruitment agencies, or fee-based recruitment services.
