Novisal has an Immediate Opening for a Construction Safety Professional to work on Major Infrastructure Projects .

We are looking for seasoned and serious Safety & Health Professionals to join our team and fill immediate openings for Construction Safety Managers on multiple long-term infrastructure projects in Manhattan.

Responsibilities will include the management of all safety and security matters at construction sites for NYC agencies including MTA:

• Provide safety oversight of demolition and construction activities
• Implement and enforce the Accident Prevention Program for each work site
• Enforce relevant federal, state and local regulations
• Help implement and enforce Site-Specific Safety Plans and Site Work Plans
• Conduct Environmental Health & Safety Site Audits to ensure compliance
• Conduct accident investigations, root cause analyses and corrective actions development
• Conduct safety meetings as required
• Ensure compliance for the safety of site workers and the general public
• Maintain Daily Safety Logs and photo records to help correct deficiencies

Qualifications:

• Secure knowledge of federal, state, and local occupational health and safety regulations
• 3-5 years of on-site construction safety experience
• Demonstrated, verbal, analytical and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated ability to prepare and generate written reports as necessary
• Ability to communicate effectively and consistently with a wide range of personnel
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook is a must
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with shifting and competing priorities
• Considerable skill working both independently and as part of a team required

Must Show Proof of:

• NYC DOB 40-Hr Site Safety Manager Certification
• 30-Hr OSHA Construction Safety & Health
• NYCTA Track Training with 90-day Right of Way Experience
• SSPC C-3/C-5 Deleading Supervisor Certification
• NYS Asbestos Inspector
• ASSP Membership
