Join our dynamic team as a Construction Project Manager and lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of complex infrastructure projects. Duties

\n

• Lead and manage construction projects from inception through completion, ensuring adherence to project scope, schedule, and budget.
\n
• Develop detailed project schedules using Microsoft Project or similar project management software to coordinate all phases of construction activities.
\n
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to review construction plans and ensure clarity on project specifications.
\n
• Monitor construction site activities daily to ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and environmental standards.
\n
• Utilize construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office tools for documentation, reporting, and communication.
\n
• Manage project budgets meticulously by tracking costs using cost management tools; adjust plans proactively to prevent overruns.
\n
• Lead project meetings to facilitate effective communication among stakeholders and resolve any issues promptly.
\n
• Ensure all construction activities comply with local regulations and industry standards while maintaining quality control throughout the project lifecycle.
\n
• Read blueprints accurately to verify that construction aligns with design specifications and contractual obligations.
\n
• Supervise teams on-site by managing labor resources efficiently and providing clear direction for task execution.
\n
• Prepare comprehensive progress reports for executive review and client updates to maintain transparency on project status.

Experience

\n

• Proven experience managing large-scale infrastructure or commercial construction projects with a strong track record of delivering within scope, schedule, and budget parameters.
\n
• Demonstrated ability to manage teams effectively in a fast-paced construction environment while maintaining safety standards.
\n
• Deep familiarity with construction regulations, building codes, safety protocols, and environmental compliance requirements.
\n
• Skilled in reading blueprints and technical drawings accurately to guide on-site activities.
\n
• Excellent organizational skills with a focus on time management to prioritize tasks efficiently across multiple projects.
\n
• Prior experience managing interior buildout, complex infrastructure or retail projects is highly desirable.

Qualifications

\n

• Strong project coordination skills, including organizing timelines, resources, and communications across multiple stakeholders.

• Demonstrated experience in construction project management and construction management on commercial or institutional projects.
\n
• Proficiency in project management practices, including risk management, scheduling, and progress tracking.
\n
• Solid budgeting and cost control skills, with experience managing estimates, change orders, and financial reporting.
\n
• Knowledge of building codes, safety standards, and construction best practices.
\n
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings and specifications.
\n
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to lead meetings and coordinate diverse teams.
\n
• Experience with project management and construction management software tools (e.g., MS Project, Procore, or similar).
\n
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
\n
• Previous experience managing projects in the New York City area or similar urban environments is highly beneficial.
