Overview
Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery (L&D) for a travel assignment in the United States region, starting 09/28/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range: $2,298 to $2,388 per week with 36 guaranteed hours. Shift is 3x12-hour nights. Setting: Short Term Acute Care Hospital.

Responsibilities
- Provide professional nursing care to obstetric patients through labor, delivery, and postpartum phases, aligning with Standards of Nursing Practice.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care; coordinate and delegate tasks to the care team; communicate with patients, families, and physicians.
- Monitor maternal and fetal status, administer medications as ordered, manage labor progression, and respond to intrapartum changes and emergencies.
- Collaborate with physicians, CNAs, and ancillary staff; participate in patient and family education and discharge planning; document care in the electronic medical record (EPIC).
- Maintain compliance with AWHONN fetal monitoring requirements; keep certifications current (NRP, ACLS, BLS) and obtain updates as required.
- Adhere to LDRP care delivery principles; for new-to-L&D nurses, complete required AWHONN coursework during orientation and continue with ongoing fetal monitoring education.

Requirements
- Active RN license in the state of practice (or the state of assignment)
- Graduation from an approved nursing program
- Minimum two years of recent acute care RN experience
- BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications; obtain or maintain per policy within specified timelines
- AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification required on hire and every two years; new-to-L&D nurses will complete AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Heart Monitoring within 6–8 months of orientation, followed by Advanced Fetal Monitoring every two years
- AHA/ARC BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
- EPIC experience required
- LDRP model experience preferred
- Ability to work night shifts and comply with the 36-hour weekly schedule
- No-call requirement for this assignment
