Commercial Real Estate Paralegal

Job Overview Atlanta law firm is seeking a Commercial Real Estate Paralegal for a permanent position. This paralegal will join a team of attorneys who represent commercial developers, investors, lenders and brokers across the country. Candidates must have a thorough knowledge of commercial real estate loan documents with extensive title and survey experience. Responsibilities Perform due diligence and analyze material Draft, review and edit loan documents for commercial real estate closings and coordinate closings Prepare closing packages Perform title and survey review and draft title objection letters and summaries Communicate with all involved parties to obtain necessary information and update them regarding status of closings Ensure that all necessary information is in the files and required signatures are obtained so the closing files can progress according to deadlines Handle post-closing matters including preparing title policies, disbursement of funds and recordings Qualifications Must have at least four years of experience in a law firm or commercial real estate title company and possess a four-year degree or paralegal certification. MS Word and Excel proficiency is required. Candidates should have strong organizational skills and be able to prioritize, manage closing deadlines and multitask.
