We are looking for a detail-oriented Loan Processor - Support team member to join a Financial Services team on a contract basis. This position focuses on handling a high volume of mortgage loan and escrow payment activity with accuracy, organization, and timely follow-through. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working from spreadsheets, coordinating payment issuance, and supporting day-to-day loan servicing operations in a fast-paced environment. This could turn into a contract-to-hire position.

Responsibilities:

• Process incoming payments for mortgage loans and escrow accounts with a high degree of accuracy and timeliness.

• Prepare and coordinate outgoing disbursements through approved payment methods, including organizational payment channels and check processing.

• Route checks for required approvals and signatures before ensuring prompt distribution.

• Maintain and update spreadsheet-based records to track payment activity, status, and supporting details.

• Review payment information carefully to help prevent errors, delays, or discrepancies in loan-related transactions.

• Manage a large volume of daily transactions while meeting deadlines and established quality standards.

• Communicate with internal stakeholders as needed to resolve payment issues and confirm completion of disbursement activities.

• Experience in mortgage lending or loan support functions.
• Knowledge of loan origination and payment processing activities.
• Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling financial transactions.
• Proficiency in using spreadsheets to organize, track, and reconcile data.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills for coordinating with internal teams.
• Ability to follow established procedures for approvals, signatures, and payment release.
