Assistant Manager / Front Desk Coordinator Assistant Manager / Front Desk Coordinator – Outpatient Imaging Center We are seeking a dependable, professional, and patient-focused Assistant Manager / Front Desk Coordinator to join our outpatient imaging center. This full-time role is ideal for someone with medical front office experience who enjoys leading a team, supporting daily operations, and helping patients feel welcomed and cared for from the moment they arrive. What You'll Do Assist with the day-to-day leadership of the front desk team, including training, task coordination, and workflow support. Greet patients, answer phones, schedule appointments, and provide excellent customer service in person and over the phone. Support patient registration, insurance verification, authorizations, referrals, and payment collection. Review patient information, orders, insurance details, and required documentation for accuracy and completeness. Help keep patient flow moving smoothly and communicate updates to technologists, radiologists, billing staff, and referring offices. Respond to patient questions and concerns with professionalism, patience, and timely follow-through. Maintain front office organization, supplies, cleanliness, and readiness throughout the workday. Follow HIPAA guidelines and company policies to protect patient privacy and confidentiality. Perform other administrative and operational duties as needed. What We're Looking For 1-2 years of medical office, healthcare, or patient-facing administrative experience preferred. Previous lead, supervisory, assistant manager, or front desk coordination experience preferred. Experience with medical scheduling, registration, insurance verification, authorizations, referrals, or billing support. Strong communication and customer service/problem-solving skills. Ability to multitask, stay organized, and remain calm in a busy healthcare setting. Comfortable managing a high volume of incoming calls, referring physician office communications, and patient interactions. Comfortable using computers, electronic scheduling systems, office equipment, and phone systems. Ability to support daily office operations while assisting with staff oversight and workflow management. Dependable, professional, team-oriented, and committed to excellent patient care.
