Corporate AccountantLHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking to fill a Corporate Accountant position for a reputable organization in Greensboro, NC. The ideal candidate will have experience with general ledger accounting, account reconciliations, journal entries, month-end close, financial analysis, and audit support. This role offers the opportunity to work with a collaborative accounting team and gain broad exposure to corporate accounting functions.Corporate Accountant Position OverviewThe Corporate Accountant is responsible for supporting the month-end close process, preparing journal entries, performing account reconciliations, analyzing financial data, and assisting with audit and reporting activities. This individual will help maintain accurate financial records while identifying opportunities to improve processes and strengthen internal controls.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and post journal entries, including accruals, reclasses, and allocations.Perform monthly balance sheet and bank reconciliations.Support month-end close activities and ensure deadlines are met.Review financial data, investigate variances, and provide account analysis.Prepare recurring schedules, rollforwards, and audit-ready workpapers.Assist with internal and external audit requests.Support prepaid expense accounting and recurring revenue-related processes.Compile financial information for management reporting and ad hoc analysis.Identify opportunities for process improvements and enhanced internal controls.Qualifications DesiredBachelor's degree preferred.Experience with general ledger accounting, journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and lookups.Excellent communication and organizational skills.Benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, term life and AD&D insurance, short-term and long-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, commuter benefits, wellness plans, and a 401k plan or a non-qualified deferred compensation plan.
