Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a dedicated Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) in Omaha, Nebraska. This position involves providing expert patient care in a fast-paced, tertiary hospital setting. Candidates are required to bring their RN license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Location: Omaha, Nebraska
• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, with shifts from 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM and 6:30 PM to 6:30 AM. The minimum hours per week are 36.
• Required Qualifications: Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification, National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification, and a minimum of 2 years recent ICU experience.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• Experience: 2 years recent ICU experience required
• Shift Requirements: Night shifts, with every other or 2 out of 3 major holidays working, based on unit needs.
• Float: Will float to all inpatient units, excluding Maternity and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
• Additional Information: The unit operates in a fast-paced environment with volume flexes due to serving as the primary tertiary hospital for the system. Attributes for success include critical thinking skills, a positive attitude, willingness to assist others, and strong patient care abilities.
• Submission Requirements: Drivers license required at submittal. RTO (Request for Time Off) must be requested upfront for 7 or fewer days per 13-week contract; additional RTO will not be approved after submission.
