SMB Account Manager

Managing a portfolio of small and medium-sized business clients, the full-time SMB Account Manager will serve as the primary point of contact, driving client retention and growth by understanding business needs and proactively expanding relationships across Toptal's offerings in a remote environment. Key Responsibilities Own and nurture a portfolio of SMB accounts, ensuring their retention, growth, and success Conduct insight-driven conversations to uncover client needs and build proactive account plans Manage the client experience throughout the engagement lifecycle, addressing concerns and collaborating with internal teams Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree is required 3+ years of B2B account management or sales experience with a track record of meeting revenue quotas 1+ years in a software consulting or tech sales role, familiar with the software project lifecycle Experience in growing and retaining client accounts while managing multiple portfolios simultaneously Proficiency in maintaining accurate pipeline and account data in a CRM system
