Collaborate closely with internal teams, including legal, finance, and operations, to create and implement effective contract management strategies. Conduct thorough reviews of contract terms and conditions, identifying potential risks and proposing mitigation strategies to safeguard the company's interests. Monitor contract performance and compliance, providing regular reports and updates to senior management on key metrics and potential issues. Serve as the primary point of contact for contract-related inquiries, facilitating communication between stakeholders and ensuring timely resolution of any disputes. Develop and maintain a centralized contract database, ensuring all documents are accurately stored, tracked, and easily accessible for future reference. Provide training and guidance to team members on contract management best practices and company policies, fostering a culture of compliance and accountability. Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in contract management, making recommendations for process improvements as necessary. Participate in strategic planning sessions, offering insights on contract-related implications for business development and operational efficiency. Assist in the preparation of proposals and bids, ensuring that all contractual obligations are clearly defined and understood by all parties involved. Negotiate amendments and modifications to existing contracts as needed, adapting to changing business needs and market conditions. Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners and clients, ensuring a collaborative approach to contract management and execution. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Law, or a related field; a Master's degree or relevant certification (e.g., CPCM, CCMP) is a plus. A minimum of 7 years of experience in contract management, preferably in a technology or consulting environment. Proven track record of successfully negotiating complex contracts and managing high-stakes agreements. Strong understanding of legal terminology, contract law, and regulatory compliance issues. Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to assess risks and develop effective strategies for contract management. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport with diverse stakeholders. Proficiency in contract management software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating initiative and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Nice to have Experience in government contracting or familiarity with federal acquisition regulations (FAR). Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools. Previous experience in a leadership or mentoring role within a contract management team. Familiarity with risk management principles and practices. Experience in international contracts and cross-border negotiations.
