Android Developer With Kotlin Expertise

Hybrid 3 days/week in Chicago, IL

Our client seeks an Android developer with Kotlin expertise to build and maintain mobile features, improve app performance, and collaborate with product and design. The contractor will contribute to code quality, testing, and release processes while adhering to established mobile development standards.

Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Rate: $73.00 to $83.00/hr. w2

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Android applications using Kotlin.
• Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to deliver features.
• Write unit and integration tests and participate in code reviews.
• Optimize app performance, reliability, and accessibility.
• Contribute to CI/CD, release management, and monitoring.

Experience Requirements:

• Professional Android development experience with Kotlin.
• Knowledge of Android SDK, Jetpack libraries, and modern app architecture.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, and offline data handling.
• Familiarity with Git, build tools, and CI/CD for Android.
• Understanding of testing frameworks and Google Play release processes.

Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
