Robhana Management is a Los Angeles-based commercial real estate company with 20+ years of operating history and a portfolio of 60+ office, retail, industrial, and mixed-use properties across the West Coast, running leasing, property management, accounting, and administration in-house.

Our Ideal Candidate

A Yardi Voyager expert with controller-level accounting experience in commercial real estate. This person will be our in-house Yardi authority: setting up, maintaining, troubleshooting, and reporting out of Voyager across the portfolio, while running day-to-day accounting and leading the accounting team.

This is a temporary position with the opportunity to convert to permanent full-time. Over time, the role grows into senior leadership of the accounting department and full Yardi system administration.

The ideal candidate is hands-on, precise, and comfortable working directly with ownership. They can close the books, build clean reporting, and fix process problems without waiting to be asked.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Yardi Voyager (primary focus)

• Serve as the in-house Yardi Voyager expert and first point of contact for all Yardi questions
• Set up new properties, entities, leases, and vendors; maintain chart of accounts and property hierarchies
• Audit and clean up lease data, recurring charges, escalations, and tenant ledgers
• Build and maintain custom financial, management, and owner reports
• Identify and implement workflow improvements and automation within Yardi
• Troubleshoot issues and manage the relationship with Yardi support
• Train accounting, leasing, and property management staff on Yardi

Accounting and controls

• Manage monthly, quarterly, and year-end close across a multi-entity portfolio
• Prepare and review property-level and consolidated financial statements
• Oversee GL, AP, AR, bank reconciliations, and intercompany activity
• Track loan covenants, debt service, and lender reporting requirements
• Coordinate with outside CPAs on audits and tax filings
• Maintain internal controls, including wire and payment approval procedures

Leadership

• Supervise, train, and review the work of accounting staff
• Work with leasing and property management on lease abstracts, tenant ledgers, and collections
• Report directly to the principals on financial performance and cash flow

Growth path

The position starts as temporary, with the opportunity to convert to permanent full-time based on performance and fit. After conversion, the role is expected to grow into senior leadership of the accounting department and full Yardi system administration, including user access, security roles, workflow setup, and system-wide data integrity.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
• 7+ years of accounting experience, including 3+ years at controller or senior accounting manager level
• 5+ years of hands-on Yardi Voyager experience (commercial preferred)
• Commercial real estate accounting experience
• Experience supervising accounting staff
• Advanced Excel experience

Preferred

• Yardi system administration experience (security roles, workflows, report building)
• Experience with lender reporting, loan compliance, and acquisitions
• Experience with Yardi modules such as Commercial Café, PAYscan, or Advanced Budgeting & Forecasting
• CPA license
