HVAC Controls Technician (BAS / Building Automation)

$28.00 – $42.00 per hour (DOE)

Job Summary

We are hiring an experienced HVAC Controls Technician to work on Building Automation Systems (BAS/DDC) in commercial and industrial environments. This role includes installation, programming, commissioning, and troubleshooting of HVAC control systems.

Responsibilities

Install, troubleshoot, and maintain HVAC control systems (BAS/DDC)
Program and modify control systems (Niagara, Tridium, BACnet)
Diagnose issues with sensors, actuators, and control wiring
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams
Perform system startups, testing, and commissioning
Provide field service and customer support
Work with project managers and engineers to complete projects

Requirements

3+ years of HVAC, electrical, or controls experience
Experience with BAS/DDC systems preferred
Strong troubleshooting skills (electrical + HVAC)
Ability to read schematics and wiring diagrams
Valid driver’s license

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Niagara / Tridium / BACnet / Modbus
EPA Certification
Previous controls or BAS programming experience
