Interim CFO

Interim CFO (Remote | 3+ Month Engagement) Start: ASAP Overview We are seeking an experienced Interim CFO to support a high-growth, Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) business through a critical period of integration and transformation. This is not a traditional accounting-focused role—this position requires a leader who understands the operational and financial complexities of a marketing-driven, e-commerce environment and can provide strategic guidance during ongoing integration efforts. What We\'re Looking For This role requires someone who has hands-on DTC experience and understands where the real business challenges exist beyond the close. The ideal candidate has supported organizations with: Multiple distribution centers and complex fulfillment networks Marketing-driven revenue models (digital spend, CAC, promotions, attribution) End-to-end order flow from marketing ? e-commerce storefront ? fulfillment ? revenue recognition Inventory management across multiple warehouses, including margin impact from shipping, returns, and promotions Key Responsibilities Act as a transitional CFO , providing strategic finance leadership in a non-executive capacity Support M&A and post-merger integration efforts , including add-on acquisitions Partner with leadership to improve visibility into margins, performance, and operational KPIs Advise on financial implications of marketing spend, customer acquisition, and pricing strategies Support and guide a lean finance/accounting team Drive integration initiatives across systems, processes, and reporting Required Experience Prior CFO experience, ideally within DTC / e-commerce environments Strong background in M&A and post-merger integrations Experience in private equity-backed companies Deep understanding of consumer marketing, inventory management, S&OP, OTB planning, and merchandising Experience supporting multiple distribution centers and fulfillment operations Ability to operate in a lean, fast-paced environment and quickly add value Ideal Profile Strategic, hands-on leader with a transformational mindset Proven ability to step into complex environments and drive clarity and structure Experience in high-growth or evolving organizations This is a high-impact opportunity for a seasoned CFO who has already navigated the complexities of DTC businesses and can bring immediate value during a critical integration phase.
