RN - PACU Profession: RN Specialty: PACU Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 10.5 Experience: Minimum 1 Year License: RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.BLSACLSAssessment and critical thinking skills Description:This is a contract position for a Registered Nurse in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit.The unit consists of 5 beds.There are 6 staff members on the unit.Day shift staffing typically includes 3 to 4 RNs depending on the case schedule.The patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:1.The equipment used includes GE monitors.The electronic medical record system utilized is Meditech.Candidates with critical care experience and PACU experience are preferred.Typical procedures on the unit include cardioversion and EKGs.Assessments are a key responsibility of the role.The ideal candidate will be proactive, self-motivated, and collaborative.Scrub color required is navy.Additional enticing factors may include new equipment or technology, tenure and experience of staff, and schedule options. #J-18808-Ljbffr Cynet HealthStaff
