As a Security Officer Lobby Reception Driver in Syracuse, NY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional at a utilities location, you will welcome visitors, manage access, monitor activity, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in the job state. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, contractors, and/or vendors at a utility location while carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Monitor access to the facility by verifying visitor credentials, issuing visitor passes, maintaining entry records, and directing guests in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Maintain accurate front desk logs, receive and route calls, and communicate security-related concerns to appropriate site personnel and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
