At a healthcare location, Allied Universal Patrol Officers conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. This driving post requires a valid driver's license. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism, teamwork, integrity, and care.

Pay Rate: $23.44 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hospital buildings, patient care areas, parking locations, and exterior perimeters.
• Respond to incidents, medical-related emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner according to site procedures.
• Observe and report unusual activity, hazards, and security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control, visitor directions, and other security-related support activities as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• A New York State Security Guard License is required.
• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
