Maintenance TechnicianSign-On Bonus: $2,000Shift: 2nd Shift — 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, Monday through FridayTraining Schedule: All training will take place on 1st shift (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday) Training duration is approximately 4–6 monthsAdditional Information: Employees working off-shift are eligible for a shift differential rewardPosition OverviewThe Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing preventative maintenance on various pieces of equipment and completing forms and records documenting completed work. Following training, which may last up to 3-4 months, the Maintenance Technician is expected to be capable of independently performing preventative maintenance on multiple pieces of equipment at a reasonable rate while following established policies, procedures, and practices.Essential Job FunctionsAssist in the setup, tear down, and troubleshooting of cGMP production equipment.Perform preventative maintenance on equipment, including boilers, HVAC, and purified water system.Perform calibrations on production equipment.Understand basic welding, plumbing, and electrical practices.Understand basic electrical diagrams.Perform simple mathematical calculations.Support facility projects at the direction of the Maintenance & Engineering Department.Follow all CPI cGMP and CPI safety practices, policies, and procedures.Employees at CPI work with and/or are familiar with the GMP requirements for Food, Dietary Supplements, Pharmaceuticals, or other elements of each.Depending on the position, the employee will be aware of Halal and/or Kosher requirements.Other duties as assigned.Education/Skills/Knowledge RequiredHigh school diploma or equivalent required.Knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs).Basic understanding of the purpose and contents of Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDSs).Knowledge of various types of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and how/when to use it.Ability to read, write (legibly), and speak the English language at a level necessary for efficient performance of job duties.Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with team members, co-workers, and/or clients.Ability to lift objects weighing up to 55 lbs. and move objects weighing up to 150 lbs.Competitive BenefitsFriendly work environmentMedical, Dental, Vision, Life, AD&D, and Disability InsurancePre-tax 401(k) and after-tax Roth 401(k) contribution options with company matching up to 5%Generous Paid-time Off - Accrue up to 17 days of PTO within the 1st year.Tuition Reimbursement Program
