Base pay range $70,000.00/yr - $105,000.00/yr Direct message the job poster from Tiello Construction Recruiter at Tiello || Building Teams for Tomorrow in the AEC Industry ️General Contracting, Heavy Civil, Masonry, and Steel… Tiello has partnered with a highly successful Commercial Masonry Contractor in the San Bernardino, CA area on their search for a Assistant Project Manager / Project Coordinator for Commercial Masonry Construction projects up to $15M. The Assistant Project Manager / Project Coordinator will serve as the company's point of contact both with the client and with the construction team when required. You will engage in and influence the safety culture and have the authority to make decisions on the General Contractor's behalf about such items as cost and schedule. Project Types: Schools, Financial Institutions, Healthcare, Retail, Restaurants, Office Buildings Duties & Responsibilities: Assist in oversight and project schedules and budgets for successful completion of each project. Set up and implement job procedures and techniques to assure timely buyout, shop drawing approval, and material delivery. Oversee and develop good relationships with Owners, Architects, and Subcontractors. Provide the client with value-engineered solutions when applicable. Work with Superintendents to develop safety plans and implement safety procedures. Oversee and mentor the project staff to foster a positive team setting. Skills & Qualifications : Minimum 2+ years of experience in commercial construction. Exposure to/familiarity with masonry/concrete construction . BS in Construction Management or Civil Engineering is preferred but NOT required. Strong communication skills with clients, subcontractors, and design consultants.
