Key Highlights Weekly pay: $1,851-$1,925 per week Guaranteed hours: 36 hours per week Contract duration: 8 weeks Shift: 3x12-night shifts Start date: 08/10/2026 Setting: Short Term Acute Care Hospital Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care to adult and geriatric patients on the Med Surg unit Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process Administer medications, monitor patient status, and respond to clinical changes Collaborate with physicians and the health care team to coordinate care and discharge planning Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and post-discharge care Maintain accurate documentation in the patient record and ensure smooth transition across shifts Requirements California Registered Nurse license (RN) in the state of practice Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required at time of hire Demonstrated competency in dysrhythmia during orientation (for most departments) At least two years of recent clinical experience in the field Ability to work night shifts in a hospital environment and provide safe patient care Benefits and Support Dedicated travel recruitment support throughout the assignment 36 guaranteed hours per week for the duration of the contract Access to orientation and credentialing processes aligned with the start date Ongoing clinical and operational support during the assignment Housing and travel coordination support available (as applicable) Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
