SUMMARY:

The Field IT Technician provides technical support for the purpose of maintaining the availability and reliability of network, PC (desktops and laptops) and software problems to resolutions.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Possesses outstanding technical knowledge, which will enable one to install, modify, monitor, test and troubleshoot Pay-O-Matic Corp. stores and HQ office computer hardware and software and network problems.
• Provides technical support for the purpose of maintaining, installing and/or replacing equipment in the stores.
• Preps and tag new equipment for the field/stores.
• Visits stores/field for repairs and troubleshooting if necessary.
• Performs software and hardware upgrades and roll-outs as directed by manager.
• Enters Troubleshooting calls into the help desk system (ServicePRO).
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and be available to drive to stores, as most of the job duties will be performed in the field/stores.
• Performs other duties, including special projects as assigned by manager.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• At least one year of related experience.
• Strong written & verbal communications skills. Strong Customer Service and follow-upskills.
• Commitment to excellence and high standards

• Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
• Strong interpersonal skills.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to do the following:

· Coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously

· Understand and respond to a diverse population.

· Ability to drive to numerous locations when needed

· Strength to lift and carry electronic equipment (Computers, Monitors, etc.)

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• The main work site will be at the corporate office in Melville, New York, however driving to retail location maybe required depending on upcoming projects.
