Business Immigration Paralegal (Sports Practice) Regular Full-Time NEW YORK, NY, US 4 days ago Requisition ID: 1029 Salary Range: $75,000.00 To $90,000.00 Annually Description : The Immigration Group at Pryor Cashman LLP is seeking a Business Immigration Paralegal with 2+ years of experience to support its fast-paced, high-volume sports practice. This role will focus on preparing various employment-based visa petitions and working on consular affairs matters. This position will play a critical role in supporting attorneys and paralegals by streamlining workflow and ensuring timely case progression. Principal Duties and Responsibilities Intake cases, troubleshoot, and establish case strategy. Analyze case documents and prepare immigration applications for filing with the appropriate government agency. Draft petitions, applications and specialized support letters detailing eligibility for visa classification and other immigration benefits. Manage consular processing workflows for sports immigration matters. Monitor case statuses and proactively address scheduling or processing issues. Communicate with attorneys, paralegals, and clients regarding appointment logistics and updates. Provide general administrative and immigration support as needed. Other responsibilities as assigned. Proficient in Microsoft Office Excellent verbal and written communication skills and demonstrated attention to detail. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Meet assigned deadlines and communicate case progress/status/issues to supervisor. Demonstrate flexibility and initiative regarding assignments for self and team. Demonstrate leadership by taking ownership of assigned cases and demonstrate accountability for case progress. Experience Knowledge of principles and practices, legal terminology and research techniques. Prior immigration paralegal or administrative experience preferred, ideally in high-volume practice areas.
