Business Immigration Paralegal

Responsibilities
- Intake cases, troubleshoot and establish case strategy.
- Analyze case documents and prepare immigration applications for filing with the appropriate government agency.
- Draft petitions, applications and specialized support letters detailing eligibility for visa classification and other immigration benefits.
- Oversee status of cases.
- Issue-spot and present potential benefits and disadvantages of various options
- Research and apply regulations and case law with minimal attorney oversight
- Understand I-9, site visit and related compliance issues
- Write persuasive first drafts of sophisticated documents such as O-1 petitions, Aliens of Extraordinary Ability, Outstanding Researcher cases, as well as first drafts of complex DOL audit responses and complex RFEs for filing with the USCIS
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience)
- A minimum of 1 year of Business Immigration-related experience
