Responsibilities - Deliver inpatient respiratory care for adult inpatients, including adult ICU and general pediatric patients (no NICU/PICU). Implement prescribed therapies, assess response, and adjust treatment as needed. - Manage ventilated patients and non-invasive ventilation, administer inhaled therapies, chest physiotherapy, and airway clearance techniques. - Monitor patient status, document findings and plan in Epic EMR, and participate in interdisciplinary rounds with the care team. - Maintain equipment readiness, monitor for device alarms, perform routine maintenance, and ensure infection control and safety protocols. - Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and therapists to coordinate care, ensure orders are completed accurately, and support patient advocacy. - Schedule requirements: weekends as needed, no on-call responsibility, and a flexible approach to assignment scheduling. Requirements

• Credential: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) required; CRT not accepted
• Licensure: Active RRT credential (state licensure required or eligible for

placement)

• Certifications: AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, AHA PALS; NBRC verification; NRP
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of relevant inpatient respiratory therapy

experience; prior travel experience preferred - Setting experience: Inpatient adult, adult ICU, and general pediatric care; teaching hospital experience preferred

• EMR: Epic experience within the past 2 years is required
• Scheduling: Ability to work 12-hour day shifts; weekends as needed; no block
