Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory care for adult inpatients, including adult ICU and general pediatric patients; NICU and PICU not required
- Assess, implement, monitor and adjust ventilation settings and support as prescribed; administer airway clearance therapies
- Perform arterial blood gas sampling, oxygen therapy, aerosolized medication administration and related procedures
- Monitor patient response, document interventions and outcomes in the electronic health record (Epic) and communicate changes to the care team
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses and therapists to optimize respiratory care plans; ensure patient safety and adherence to AHA guidelines

Requirements
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential; CRT not accepted
- Active licensure on file (RRT) as applicable for the state
- Certifications: AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, AHA PALS, NBRC Verification, NRP
- Minimum 1 year of experience; prior travel experience preferred
- Teaching hospital experience required
- Epic experience within the past 2 years is required
- Ability to work in an inpatient setting with flexible weekend coverage as needed
